John McCain to speak at British Conservative conference

The US senator and frontrunner for the Republican presidential candidacy, John McCain, is expected to help the British Conservative party restore its international credibility by appearing at its annual conference.

The Arizona senator is believed to have agreed in principle to attend the conference in Bournemouth next month, according to today's Financial Times.
