South Dakota law will ban abortions
PIERRE, S.D. -- Governor Mike Rounds signed legislation Monday banning nearly all abortions in South Dakota, setting up a court fight aimed at challenging the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.
The bill would make it a crime for doctors to perform an abortion unless the procedure was necessary to save the woman's life. It would make no exception for cases of rape or incest.

Michael McCafferty comments:
It takes political courage to take on the left wing liberal secular Hollywood crowd in America.
The South Dakota legislature and Republican Governor Mike Rounds have passed a law banning abortion in that state.
This is an action that will find its way all the way to the United States Supreme Court.
I am pro-life and believe in the protection of the unborn -- that is why I salute Governor Mike Rounds and the South Dakota legislature.
