Blair says 'terror will not win'

Tony Blair has vowed the British people will not be intimidated after blasts hit London's transport network.
Speaking in Downing Street, the prime minister said: "It is a very sad day for the British people but we will hold true to the British way of life."

Just as Winston Churchill and the British people stood up with courage against Hitler and the Nazis in World War II Tony Blair and the British people will stand up with courage against the evil al-Qaeda.
A statement from the G8 called the blasts "an attack not on one nation but on all nations and civilised people".
Now, more than ever there must be the determination to defeat terrorism.
