Hillary Clinton and John McCain are the obvious front runners in the 2008 race for the White House. Yes there are other serious contenders. Governor Jeb Bush for the Republicans comes to mind as does Governor Bill Richardson for the Democrats. Yet at this point in time both Clinton and McCain have commanding leads if they do decide to run for President of the United States.

Condoleeza Rice is truly a very remarkable and outstanding woman with great leadership ability but one has to wonder whether she would be prepared to resign as Secretary of State in order to campaign for the Republican Party nomination because she certainly would not be handed it on a silver plater.
The $60 thousand dollar question is whether or not Condoleeza Rice want to enter the political arena ?
